Dr Siddharth Jain Paediatrician

About me

Dr Siddharth Jain

I have been working as an NHS Consultant in Paediatrics with interest in Neurology since 2014.

I am a highly skilled experienced paediatrician with dual expertise as both a Paediatric Consultant with special interest in neurology, and a qualified GP.

After completing my MBBS (Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Science) and postgraduate training in paediatrics in India, I moved to the UK to further my medical career.

I undertook structured training in Paediatrics within the NHS and achieved my Certificate of Completion of Training (CCT) in 2013. Following this, I completed a Fellowship in Paediatric Neurology from the prestigious Birmingham Children's Hospital, further enhancing my expertise in the field. I have contributed to numerous audits including national Epilepsy-12 audit and quality improvement projects. I have been the lead for epilepsy service in my hospital.

During the COVID-19 pandemic, I expanded my skillset by completing GP training, qualifying as a General Practitioner. Throughout my GP training, I continued to maintain clinical involvement in Paediatrics. Since becoming a qualified GP, I have worked as a part time GP, while continuing to practise as a Paediatric Consultant.

Throughout my career, I have had the privilege of presenting at numerous national and international conferences and contributing to several publications in the field of Paediatrics. In addition, I have served as an educational and clinical supervisor, training the next generation of doctors.

Before pursuing my GP training, I was also the named doctor for safeguarding children, ensuring the safety and wellbeing of vulnerable patients.

With my unique qualifications, I am able to offer comprehensive care in both Paediatrics and General Practice, providing expert consultations for a range of medical conditions, from Paediatric Neurology to general health concerns.
